Dust Suppressors

Over the years BMA Ambiental has been developing its product line for dust suppression, also known as “Dust Control”. Our Research and Development – R&D Department, always alert to the market and the needs of our customers, has identified a growing demand in the diversity of situations for the application of the dust suppressor, which is why today we have a wide range of products in this line.
The need for the use of a dust suppressor arose for BMA Ambiental, in the rail transport of iron ore, due to the railroad crossing several cities and, along the way, leaving a trail of fine and bright dust on the population and even, depending on the situation, in an entire city.
When the dust from a mining company affects an entire city, such as the city of Congonhas/MG, the suppression of the dust becomes a public order case, as reported by the media. Then came another variation in the use of the dust suppressor, in piles of stationary iron ore in the company yard. However, as each mine in a mining company produces an iron ore with specific characteristics, there was a need and interest on the part of BMA Ambiental to diversify its line of dust suppressors and even invest in R&D in order to provide customized and effective solutions to its customers, reducing the waste of iron ore by wind drag and consequently mitigating environmental impact.
Our product line has been growing, and with it, other identified applications, such as application on slopes, ledges, and access roads, and in these cases, we are no longer talking only about iron ore, but also about roads, other types of ores and all the places that may emit particulates, dust.
Our products are non-toxic mixtures, mostly composed of organic polymers, which provide the solution with a high level of biodegradability. BMA Ambiental’s characteristic is the quality of its products and the concern in working with environmentally friendly materials, so to speak, being this one of our trademarks, besides of course providing savings in at least 30% of water, effective reduction in direct and indirect expenses and safety in the workplace. When it comes to safety, visibility in the area or workplace is the major concern, with high dust the visibility decreases and consequently the risk of an accident increases.
